Now how to tune a honda no matter if its on boost or N/A

well let me explain my story before i get into detail!

a couiple of years back i purchased a 1991 integra A.K.A ( D.A)

swaped a B16a1 into it and than i decided to turbo it to get a little more power out of it

well this was my first turboed project car and well this might be of some help to some people that are in my shoes righ tnow!

here is a list of what i purchased after i did the motor swap!

- Garrett T3/T4 turbo

-4 bolt flang set up

-blox racing manifold

-3" down pipe

-3" to 2 1/2 exuast

-DSM 440cc injectors

-FMU**

-2nd GEN VAFC
-skunk2 racing intake manifold

-hasport mounts

-Dart (sleeves)

-ARP head bolts

-some cheap oil catch can

-warlboro 255lph aftermarket fuel pump

-full MSD Ignition set up

-Ebay front mount Intercooler w/ pre-bent 2" pipes

now keep in mind the only thing i had to tune on in that list is a freakin VAFC and a little adjustment with the FMU!

And another thing to keep in mind is that a stock B16a1 compression ratio is 10.2:1'

its not low enought o really get a good amount of boost to her

Well long story short....... Im telling you to invest in a really good tuning program because you buy all that stuff if not more and dont have a tuning program and try and run boost it doesnt last long! i learned that the best tuning rogram that i run till this day after that incedent!, i personally like the (HONDATA) set up they have been known really well for there performance and Reliability and efficiency!

I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS BRAND, and they make all kinds of new ecu's for about any vehicle out there!

now if i had that than!,..... my 3rd cylinder wouldnt had a quarter size hole in the middle of it

and number 4 cylinder would probably still be there with good cylinder walls...lmao..

well its been a lesson learned the hard way and i hope this helps!

IF YOUR GOING TO DO ANY AFTERMARKET WORK EXPECIALLY FORCED INDUCTION OR N/A..

MAKE SURE YOU DO IT RIGHT AND GET IT TUNED!!!
